What happens to Irish coffee if you mix it with rum instead of whisky? You get a creamy, savory drink à la King Edward the Orderly that he named Cuban Coffee. STROH Inländer Rum 80% adds a special character to the drink.

Recipe: Cuban Coffee (Coffee with rum)
Amount: 1 big cup
Incredients
3/4 cup of warm black coffee
2-4 cl dark rum, 54%
1-2 tsp brown sugar
1-2 tsp STROH Inländer Rum 80%
2 tbsp whipped cream
Preparation
Firstly prepare the coffee according to your personal taste. Black. Don’t add any extras.
Make slightly whipped cream. Don’t add any extras. Whip the cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. Most important is that the cream is not getting too stiff.
Pick up your favorite cup. Add the two sortes of rum, brown sugar according to your personal taste. Fill the cup until the 3/4 mark with coffee. You need some headroom for the cream topping. Stir with a long spoon.
Last but not least add the cream topping. It should flow nicely. Don’t stir it in.
Enjoy. The coffee with rum is drunk through the cream.
Notes
Don’t use low percentage alcohol. There is enough water in your home to thin the drink.
